DMCA & Takedown Policy

Signed-in users can flag any product with the Report button on its page and choose “Stolen content”. Reports go straight to our moderation queue. Rights holders who want a formal takedown should send a written notice as described below — this is the fastest route when you own the work.

Email support@modforge.xyz with the subject “DMCA Takedown” and include:

• Your name, address, phone number and email.
• A description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed, with a link to or copy of the original.
• The URL of each ModForge listing you want removed.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a complete notice we review it, remove or disable the listing where it appears to infringe, and tell the seller what was removed and why, including a copy of the notice (your contact details may be shared with the seller so they can respond). Incomplete notices may delay action — we'll tell you what's missing.

If you're a seller and believe your listing was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with: your contact details; the removed listing's URL; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court; and your signature. We forward it to the person who filed the notice. Unless they tell us within 10–14 business days that they've started legal action, we may restore the listing.

Accounts that receive repeated valid takedowns are terminated, and their unpaid earnings from infringing listings may be withheld, as set out in our Terms §14. Buyers of a removed listing may be refunded under the Refund Policy.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material infringes — or that it was removed by mistake — can make you liable for damages. If you're not sure whether something infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice first.
